Jahlysa S. Jenkins
Jahlysa is an experienced litigator that began her career protecting the citizens of Jacksonville, Florida as a prosecutor with the Fourth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. She honed her advocacy skills in a high-stakes environment where she learned the importance of effectively presenting cases to a judge and jury.
After transitioning to the private sector, Jahlysa worked to protect creditors’ rights and served as lead counsel in law suits filed to recover money owed. Throughout her career, Jahlysa has been known as a compassionate attorney who believes in doing the right thing. She advocates for individuals and families during some of their most critical times in life. Jahlysa handles Family Law, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation and Probate cases.
Originally from “The Biggest Little City in the World” Reno, Nevada, Jahlysa graduated from the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Arts degree, dual majoring in Psychology and Communication Studies. She then graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law where she participated in the Moot Court and Mock Trial programs.
Jahlysa loves spending time with her husband and children traveling the world.
