Mercedes plays a critical role as our lead paralegal in the Jacksonville office, located in the San Marco historic District.  Mercedes started her legal career with aspirations of ultimately becoming an attorney. Mercedes currently works full-time with Sermons Law, but is pursuing her education to lay the foundations of an eventual embarkation to law school. 

She is very bright and currently holds a spot on the President’s List at her college , thanks to her amazing work ethic and 4.0 GPA. Mercedes is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and has been awarded the Top of the Class distinction. She is also National Honor Society of Leadership and Success nominee.

On top of her academic accolades, Mercedes is a proud and loving, daughter and sister.
